Industry Night and Face to Face Workshops are Back in 2022!

Join us for an Industry and Networking Evening with 3 brilliant guest speakers plus our sponsorship partners. Plus a face to face half-day workshop. The evening is designed with you – the photographers in mind, to meet the suppliers and to get your hands on some of the industries best photographic products in Australia. You’ll also hear from 3 guest speakers from different genres and stages in business, who are not only brilliant photographers but also successful business owners.

We ran these events in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane in 2019 with sold out tickets in all venues and it was a huge success. Due to Covid we had to put them on hold… But now we are looking to make them bigger and better.

This event is going to be an epic night with lots of fun and laughter, plus some business talk too. It’s going to be a cocktail style event and includes a drink on arrival and food throughout the evening. Plus there’s a cash bar on the night.

Each speaker will have 10 minutes and suppliers will have 3-5 minutes on the clock to share on a topic that they specialise in and are passionate about, so it’s going to be quick, informative and entertaining all at the same time. The evening is split into three sections with a mix of speakers and suppliers in each and plenty of time to mingle and check out the suppliers and products in between. 

Our suppliers are donating over $1000 worth of amazing door prizes for products and services and I’m sure there will be more to come. So please invite your friends in the industry, partners are welcome too and let’s make this a great night to remember!

Advanced Marketing Workshop

It’s been so long since we have had face-to-face classrooms, workshops, conferences. So it’s time to get back into the classroom and Mark is going to be teaching a half-day workshop before each of the industry nights!

It’s 4 hours of pure photography business, all designed to get your head in the game and grow your business with a 30-day execution plan. It’s going to be broken down into 3 main areas…

  • Business Foundations (Set up your business the right way the first time)
  • Creating remarkable Marketing to stand out from the crowd (tends in 2022)
  • Provide the ultimate client experience for predictable sales and repeat business

We are going to get down to business using the genre and style you already have or want to move into. 

This workshop is for you if… 

  • Your systems and process are ad-hock and you’re struggling to take control of your business.
  • You don’t have a clear plan of where you want to be and how you are going to get there.
  • Your marketing is hit and miss and you’re struggling to get momentum
  • You feel like you working a ridiculous amount of hours for a too-small return and you need to up your average sale.
  • Clients keep buying the minimum package and you struggle to upsell to wall art and products

 

Please note: This workshop is 100% business and marketing related, without any fluff. You’ll be learning methods to set your business and marketing up for the greatest chance to be a successful photography studio. No shooting, posing or props will be used throughout the day.

As always this practical, content-packed workshop and is designed to give you the tools and strategies to help educate your clients through the entire client experience to generate bigger sales and set yourself up for the win… without needing to be all hardcore salesy.

It will be presented by double Master Photographer and Photography Business Coach, Mark Rossetto. Mark built and ran one of Melbourne’s most successful portrait studios, photographing approximately 500 clients per year.

Covid 19 Contingency Plan

In the case of a government lockdown due to COVID-19, we will have a contingency plan in which we will take the workshops and the industry night to another date and time. Depending on the location and state.

Your Tickets / Booking will be transferred and you don’t need to do anything at all. If it’s within 2 weeks of the event and you can’t make it on the night you can transfer your tickets to another person. No refunds will be given within 2 weeks of the events.

You will need to abide by the covid rule set by the Australian government and venues. So please make sure you have done your research and understand what is required.
